BUT, I am almost positive that in NEARLY EVERYTHING I have read morning sickness is supposed to end when your first trimester ends. Well, it hasn't. Twelve weeks has come and gone. And quite honestly, I'm tired of being sick. Poor Lofton has resorted to pleading with the baby every night to stop making me so ill. We see Dr. Alverson on Wednesday so I am hoping for some relief.
In other news, Lofton has finally given me the go ahead to out his paper route on the blog. I have really done well keeping this a secret. I have only told my close friends and school collegues. I let him be in charge of telling his family. And he has told everyone, except Sally. So Sal, if you are reading this, SURPRISE Lofton got a paper route. He really is crazy!
In the beginning, I thought he might push me over the edge, but after a few weeks we are adjusting. He isn't as tired, and I really just don't care anymore. He didn't ask before he got the route, he just did it. Obviously I would prefer him not be worn out all the time, but he is bound and determined that this is what he wants to do, so I really see no point in arguing about it. And I do appreciate the sentiment behind it, he really feels like he needs the paper route to take care of our family.
Since I was awake sick on Friday night/early Saturday morning I tagged along for a short ride. It was kind of fun. Although Lofton did make me fold and bag papers. I didn't last the whole time because I got sick and had to come home, but if having a mid-day paper route was an option I might consider it as a summer job. (Consider being the key word)
Doctor's appointment on Wednesday. We get to listen to Baby B's heart again and I think we get to set the date for finding out if Baby B is a he or a she. Sorry Cassie, I don't think Dr. Alverson is going to tell me early as a wedding gift to you. I'll ask though!

And as a tribute to my favorite bride to be, an old picture I found in my dresser from the summer after freshman year. My how things have changed!

We missed you this weekend...that's for sure, but are so looking forward to the 18th! Sounds like the nausea is rough, but you're a trooper, and I fondly remember a time when you held my hand when feeling quite ill! I must say, though, I'm not sure who that person in the left side of the pic is, b/c it's definitely not me!
Cannot wait to find out- boy or girl!

I promise, at the end of this adventure - you won't recall just how awful it was and the end result is oh so worth it.... I have proof!! Then you'll want to repeat it, at least one more time!!!
Love you all!
