Prepared. That's how I like to roll. I don't deal well in uncertainty and roughing it is also not a phrase in my vocabulary.
Lofton met my sweet Daddy in Evergreen at seven this morning to get the generator. The generator was bought for hurricanes, and I don't think my parents ever anticipated anyone needing it for ice. Crazy Alabama weather.
We also have plenty of supplies: peanut butter, bread, crackers, juice boxes, water, goldfish and fruit snacks. Basic Beasley essentials. Oh and batteries and flashlights.
Our most important priority? Watching the game. We have plans A, B & C to ensure that happens. Ice be damned, I'm watching my tigers play.
