In a perfect world everyone would have a friend like Cassie, and every friend like Cassie would have a husband like Hugh.  They are the perfect couple to spend a weekend with; fun, relaxed, and hospitable. Our weekend was, in one word, delightful.  Good food, lots of laughs, a few drinks, and some much needed chatting.  I could sit on the couch with Cassie and read cookbooks while drinking wine for hours.  Literally. 

Reese never wanted to leave.  In fact, he begged last night to go back.  Evidently he loves Hugh much more than either of his parents.  Sassy tot.  It could also be that Cassie and Hugh gave him two prizes:  a Handy Manny doll {complete with tools and Spanish phrases} and a puppy from build-a-bear.  Reese appropriately named his new friend, Fletcher-- after the original. 

Thanks friends for being the consummate hosts.  I love you dearly.  Well, maybe not Hugh as much since he picked Lofton over me, but Cassie, I love you mucho.
