boys weekend

My mom packed up and headed to Mississippi this weekend so I invited the boys to come stay with us for the night. We hadn't seen Jackson since Christmas, and Daddy hadn't seen Reese since MLK, so a visit was much needed.

I had lots of fun hanging out and doing nothing with my four favorite men. Daddy Buck was amazed by how big Reese is getting and he loved watching all his new tricks. He even watched Reese hoover down eat some sweet potatoes for the first time last night.

Lofton took Jackson DRIVING for the first time. Lofton was horrified to find out that Jackson was 15 and had never driven. Being the brave brother in law he is, he volunteered to take Jackson to the store parking lot to practice. I'm told it was quite the adventure. Evidently Uncle J is heavy on the gas. He also is not very adept at backing up. Must be genetic. Sorry, no pictures of that adventure. Bunky, Daddy Buck, and I were safe at home in Opelika-- which is where I plan on staying anytime Jackson is on the open road.
