Two of my favorite people came to visit this weekend. When Nonna left on Saturday morning (HUGE thanks to my mom who came and kept Reese on Friday. She did laundry, cleaned, and took us to dinner on Friday night. My mama is the best!), Lofton, Reese, and I ran a few errands and waited anxiously for Cassie and Hugh's arrival. When I say I waited anxiously, I'm not kidding. I sat by the window like a little kid, watching and waiting for them to drive up.

We had a wonderful and eventful time. Cassie is my oldest and dearest friend in the world. She knows me like no one else, and although we don't see each other as often as we'd like, she always makes me smile. Lofton says we act like two very silly teenage girls when we are together. I love Hugh as well-- he is soon to start med school and I can't wait to have my own George Clooney in the family. I've even more excited that they'll be in Augusta. It is much closer to Opelika than Savannah.

Thanks for a great visit, friends. We can't wait for you to come back!
